Here are some things you should know.

What is a Precinct Delegate?
In Michigan, a precinct delegate is an elected official whose primary role is to serve as a bridge between voters and their political party. They are responsible for attending and voting at county conventions, and may also be elected to serve on party committees or attend state and national conventions.
Precinct delegates are elected directly by the voters in their precinct and must be qualified and registered electors residing within the precinct they represent. A precinct is made up of 4,999 registered voters.
Overall, precinct delegates play an important role in local politics by representing the interests and concerns of their constituents to their political party.
