June 2025 JXNGOP NEWSLETTER

Chairman's CORNER

It has been a busy month. The JXNGOP has hosted the May Under the Oaks Speaker Series (UTOSS) with special guests Sean Bertolino and Tim Golding from Americas for Prosperity (AFP) and business Spotlight guest Ted Christoff from Virginia Coney island. We have since teamed up with AFP to help with phone banking efforts weekly to renew the Trump tax cuts, Michigan right to work and the elimination of Michigan income tax. Myself and Treasurer Caron Wootten attended the campaign kickoff event for Laura Perry for State Representative. Several JXNGOP members attended an Aric Nesbit for Governor tractor campaign stop at Meckleys Flavor Fruit Farm. Fifth district chairman Todd Gillman along with Jon Smith and Myself attended a rally held by Garrett Soldano, Kevin Rinke and Ryan Kelley.
The JXNGOP leadership is actively trying to secure an additional tenant to share the JXNGOP headquarters with a conservative political campaign or organization. Discussions with Turning Point Action and RNC are ongoing and promising. Meanwhile Grandma's Boy Productions and Marketplace insurance advisors are fully up and running, sharing the JXNGOP workspace and helping to offset cost of our headquarters. Chief of Staff Chris Baird and I are working on selecting products to open a MAGA store inside the JXNGOP headquarters. The June 12th UTOSS guest is Republican candidate for Michigan Attorney General is Kevin Kijewski and we have secured Mike Rogers as the July UTOSS guest. I have appointed a Lincoln Day Committee with Caron Wootten and Ray Snell as co chairs and we are discussing a Lincoln Day Dinner with an after party for sometime in October. The birthdate of the Republican party is Sunday July 6th and I will be working closely with the Events committee to put a small ceremony together on July 6th. Continue to fight for Republican values.
